Exterior badges also went through remodelling and now reflect the brand identity of the car maker. There are seven colours for the 2023 lineup.

As for the trims, they consist of SV, SV Plus, and SL Plus at starting prices of $41,248, $46,998, and $49,848, respectively.

Interior Layout and Options

The interior of the new Leaf is spacious as its tradition demands. The SL Plus comes with leather-appointed upholstery; the other models have premium cloth. The driver’s seat has an 8-way power driver seat with two lumbar support options; this feature is standard for the entire lineup.

The back seats are foldable, giving an option for extra cargo space. There are 12v power outlets in all models, front and rear USB ports, leather-wrapped steering wheels, auto-dimming inside mirrors, and rear view monitors.

Exterior Layout and Options

The exterior looks have been upgraded. Still, features are similar for all trims. The outside mirrors on the flagship model, SL Plus, have exclusive integrated LED turn signals. The PLUS badge also isn’t available for the entry-level model. All the following features are standard for the complete lineup: heated outside mirrors, aerodynamic underbody cover, fog lights, charge ports, rear diffuser, splash guards, and spoilers.

Technology, Infotainment, and Connectivity

Most of the tech features are now standard, apart from the 7-speaker Bose Premium sound system, which is only available for the SL Plus. There’s an 8-inch touchscreen equipped with NissanConnect, SiriusXM Radio, and over-the-air map updates. All models come with SiriusXM Travel Link and SiriusXM Traffic. There’s also a trip computer, NissanConnect EV & Services, and Siri Eyes Free; this lineup is compatible with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.

Safety and Driver-Assistance Features

Nissan’s vehicles are famous for their safety features and hi-tech driving assists, and this lineup isn’t different. The airbag system has occupant classification sensors and dual-stage supplemental front airbags. There are supplemental airbags on the driver’s knees and mounted on the roof.

All options have Nissan Vehicle Immobilizer and a Vehicle Security System. Driving assists include intelligent emergency braking, forward collision warning, smart lane intervention, rear cross-traffic alert, blind spot intervention, intelligent around-view monitor, and a ProPilot assist.
